The Slats on this extra sturdy rocker are 1 inch thick. Have you ever noticed on most rocking chairs the slats are only about 1/2 inch thick at the most? Mine are at least double the thickness, sometimes triple the thickness- making it one sturdy rocker.

The seating area is 19 inches high and 19 inches deep and 21 inches wide, and 27 1/2 inches wide outside arm to outside arm. The seat is approx. 16 inches off the floor and it is 32 inches overall in height.
